Hi,

are you guys sure there is xsl support in 3.8.2?
I just edited an xsl file and I had no comfort in doing it. No completion, no highlighting (just xml highliting), no code assist and sort of.

I can't find any entries in the preferences tab. CSS/HTML/JSP and stuff, but no XSL.

Am I doing sth wrong, because you say there is XSL support...
validation gives me an error that it can't find tag <xsl:sytlesheet>...

Any ideas???

I can't reproduce this, maybe your XSL file has validation issues?

When I have an empty xsl document there are no xsl tags available.
When I write down some tags by hand they do appear as completion proposals. Is this meant to function this way?

I added two pics to visualize my prob with the validation:

and the error message:

thanx for the quick reply

I cannot reproduce this validation error you are getting, can you right click on the file and select "Validate", did it go away?

And yes the autocomplete behaves this way.

sorry, nope...
the error still remains.
It's not that critical because the file gets parsed and the output is ok.
Maybe one thing to mention...when I delete the attributes version and xmlns the document gets a wellformed validation.

do you guys plan to add features like xsl debugging, transformation and stuff?

Geez this one is a stinker... I wonder if its a stagnent error and actually isn't valid... can you try cleaning/rebuilding your project then closing/reopening it?

Not that I'm aware of right now... but our feature list is user driven, so if enough people want it, we will look into it.

I started a new test project and I'm getting same error there...
closing/opening doesn't make a difference...

It's like the xsl doc is validated against some schema and the <xsl:sytlesheet> tag is not declared...or sth like that...
