when i wrote "function document.onclick(){} "
myeclipse told me it is wrong,but it can be run correctly in my IE.
The file was committed to CVS by someone,so i can not change it.
My questions is what's wrong with the code? and what can i do to tolerate the mistake(I do not like to see the big red "X" everywhere)

I believe the problem is that you are defining a function that already exists on every html element. I would never suggest you use IE to tell if JavaScript or CSS is valid, try installing FireFox with the web developer plugin for your testing and development, that can help a lot.henry42 - Sep 03, 2006 - 02:43 PM Post subject:
