Ok, before I go and do all of this uninstall and reinstall Again, what java version is the one I need? I should be able to just change that as the Java version on my machine, right? |

The deal is, I have this exact same problem on 3 different machines. With differing OS, and probably java versions. |

| I had the same problem. I took a look at the registry and found that it is using whatever JRE is in the classpath. To correct the problem I added the following entries to each of the registry entries containing either dbexplorer.exe, imageditor.exe, htmldesigner.exe, texteditor.exe, and xmleditor.exe.
For example "c:\tools\myeclipse\dbexplorer\dbexplorer.exe" -vm "c:\tools\myeclipse\jre\bin\javaw.exe" "%1" where c:\tools\myeclipse is the installation directory for the combined install. |
