When ever my mouse goes over the examples on demand window I get the message A runtime error has occurred, do you wish to debug? Line: 26
Error: 'g' is not an object

Most annoying. I tried running MyEclipse in a fresh empty workspace but no change

Strange, there is JavaScript ni that window to handle the Install button and it's an embedded IE browser control on Windows, so my guess is that you have some Microsoft tooling installed on your machine that has enabled JavaScrpit debugging in IE (Visual Studio usually turns this on, but I've seen other tools from Microsoft do the same).

I am getting the same error but I don't have any special tools installed, well at least as far as I know. I am running MyEclipse 7.0 and have IE7 installed.
I would rather not have to use the embedded IE browser since I put a fake proxy value in there to make sure IE doesn't contact the internet for security reasons. Is there anyway to stop it from using IE and use Firefox instead? I can always shut off the debugging in the tools but I find it annoying to always have to open IE up to the internet just to use some of the MyEclipse features that rely on the embedded browser.

For EOD, I think you should be able to got o Window > Prefs > Web Browser and set it to Firefox.
