MyEclipse: php plugin for Enterprise Workbench 6.5 jstanguy - Nov 29, 2008 - 10:33 PM Post subject: php plugin for Enterprise Workbench 6.5
I want to use installed MyEclipse IDE, ver 6.5, to edit php files with syntax checking and I can't find a plugin. I see that eclipse.org has the PDT IDE but I don't need another IDE. Any ideas on where I can go?support-nipun - Dec 02, 2008 - 09:24 AM Post subject: RE: php plugin for Enterprise Workbench 6.5
You can use the PTD plugin along with MyEclipse. Make sure you use the version of the plugin compatible with the base Eclipse version i.e. Eclipse 3.3.fermataintl - Dec 09, 2009 - 03:30 PM Post subject:
Does this work? I just installed 8.0 and am trying to add the PDT plugin. It starts and then just hangs out at the same progress point forever.support-nipun - Dec 09, 2009 - 05:02 PM Post subject:
fermataintl,
We have had user work successfully with this plugin in the past. What version of the plugin are you working with?roman2 - Mar 12, 2010 - 07:42 PM Post subject:
My experience with 8.5 M2 has been similar to that of fermataintl -- the IDE hung for a very long time. It unfroze, finally, to tell me that it couldn't install the plugin.roman2 - Mar 12, 2010 - 07:44 PM Post subject:
And in general, it takes forever to uninstall/install plugins in MyEclipse.support-joy - Mar 15, 2010 - 12:25 PM Post subject:
roman2,
Please verify the compatibility of a 3rd party plugin to that of Eclipse 3.5.2 before you add the same to ME 8.5 M2. If there are any dependency issues, MyEclipse will prompt you.
