Post subject: Editing standard BIRT reports in Myeclipse 8

Hi,
Just wondering if its at all possible to use Myeclipse 8 to edit/preview standard BIRT reports, without converting them to the MyEclipse format?

From what I've read, report designs created in the BIRT editor cannot be used in Myeclipse 8 without first changing a bunch of stuff to use the myeclipse equivalent (eg datasources). Don't really want to tie my reports to myeclipse.

Sorry, MyEclipse currently does not provide direct editing of BIRT reports created outside of MyEclipse. For more details, please refer this tutorial here - http://www.myeclipseide.com/documentation/reporting/reporting_birt/
