MyEclipse: 9.1 and 10.0: Deleting .project/.classpath files side-effect

Post subject: 9.1 and 10.0: Deleting .project/.classpath files side-effect
If you have a web project that is currently deployed to a server, deleting the .project or .classpath files from any Java project which the web project depends on could lead to the deletion of the "/" folder. On Windows, this will in most cases correspond to the drive on which MyEclipse is installed.
This bug is relatively involved to trigger as it only occurs if your web project is in a deployed state, either directly or as part of an EAR application and the aforementioned files are deleted. Note that the removal of the files by any means can lead to this issue; for instance, an update of the project from a repository in which the files have been removed.
The only workaround for now is to ensure that these files are not deleted at the same time an active deployment exists.
This bug affects the 9.1 and 10.0 versions of MyEclipse. The MyEclipse team realizes the seriousness of this issue and is working on a fix which will be delivered early next week for both versions of 9.1 and 10.0. This thread will be updated with the fix details when available.

On Feb 15, we released an update to both 9.1 and 10.0 to fix this problem.
How to get the update:
a) If you are connected to the Internet, you can apply the update live as follows:
Go to Help > MyEclipse Configuration Center and the Software Updates section (on either the Dashboard or Software tab) will show you the update to either 10.0.2 or 9.1.2. Select and apply the update to update to the version of MyEclipse which contains this fix.
b) If you download fresh offline or online installers from our Downloads page, these installers have been updated to deliver 10.0.2. The installers will either install fresh 10.0.2 profiles if you choose or you can update your existing profile to 10.0.2 or 9.1.2
To confirm that you have the fix installed, you can to to Help > About > Installation Details and on the Plug-ins tab, confirm that the version of the com.genuitec.eclipse.ast.deploy.core plugin is 10.0.2.me201202070700 or 9.1.2.me201202070700
