Post subject: EJB hot syncing

Hi,

Would like to check the hot syncing for EJB3. When I create a new ejb3 session bean, will it be automatically get deployed to the server? Frontend can only access the bean after I do a add/remove project deployment. Otherwise the remote interface will be null.

I am working with WAS 6.1.0.35 with ejb3.0 feature pack.

hahagal ,

You have to deploy the bean in exploded mode for the hot sync feature. Please take a look at this tutorial :

The issue is not clear. If you are creating a new session bean, then you will have to deploy the EAR.

Can you please give us detailed steps on what exact steps you are following and the issue you are seeing for us to investigate further?

Apologies. I misread your previous post. Since whenever I create new session bean I need to add and remove project deployment then I guess you can close this topic.
