Post subject: slightly more up to date tutorial on-line MEB 8.5&Hibern
MyEclipse Hibernate Introduction Tutorial shown at URL http://www.myeclipseide.com/documentation/quickstarts/hibernateintroduction is not reflecting the current version of myeclipse blue 8.5

Please help with the latest up to date version URL tutorial for hibernate refactoring to be done which reflects MyEclipse Blue Edition 8.5

While going through the tutorial at URL above, in the 6 step it shows me screens differently than the ones I see on MyEclipse Blue (MEB) 8.5

Can anyone assist me with the uptodate link as I am new at Hibernate with using tools along with My Eclipse 8.5

mailajayck,

Sorry that you are seeing this issue. The tutorials are based on previous versions of MyEclipse so the screenshots slightly differ. We have a PR raised for updating the tutorials.

Can you please let us know where exactly you are stuck so that we can help you out with the issue ?

Sorry for inconvenience.

Post subject: Any time frame before which updates get posted, PR means
mailajayck,

Swarna,

As said earlier, in step 6 Reverse Enginnering, Hibernate Mapping and Application Generation, screen differs from what is shown.

Please help to let me know, how soon can the MEB 8.6.1 version of tutorials be made available? Thanks in advance

Thanks,
Ajay

Ajay,

Apologies for the inconvenience. The tutorials do differ with the latest version screens but you should not have much difficulty in trying to get it work for latest versions. With little effort you will be able to run the examples.

We have a PR filed but due to several other higher priority work, this went further down the list. I will check with the dev team on it.

We appreciate your patience. Let us know if you need any help.
