OK, Genuitec - are you going to make the 08/29/2005 4.0 GA release date????

Absolutely, positively, yes.

Oh, and we doubled the available servers and bandwidth again (which we doubled the first time for 4.0M3). You should be able to get the downloads without a hitch.

James,

Unfortunately, the documentation still isn't complete. Once we get the release done, we'll be working feverishly trying to write quickstarts that show you how to quickly use all the new stuff. However, there just wasn't time at this point. It will be top priority, beginning on 8/30.

It's 11.03PM in Sydney, Australia at the moment - I've been waiting all day :(

According to world time converters, it's 8.03AM in Texas where Genuitec is. So hopefully another 57 more minutes, right guys? :D

Well, I checked with the team and we're about 4 hours out at this point. Noon (GMT -5) looks like a good approximation of the public availability time right now. Hang in there; it's coming!

To give you guys an idea how HOW much was done for the 4.0 release, here are two stats of all the issues (features, bugs, enhancements, etc.) that were completed from 3.8.4 to 4.0 M1, and then from M1 to GA:
Completed since 3.8.4 (1/27): 800
Completed since 4.0M1 (6/27): 499
Total: 1299 issues closed

We've done just short of 30 internal builds of M builds and RC builds, I know of two developers that haven't slept in 2 days (no joke) and 1 that bought a plane ticket to a "place with no internet connections" :)
