There are two solutions, one is to copy the shared library dt_socket.dll into <WAS Dir>\AppServer\Java\bin directory, and the other is to edit the Websphere Path connector settings in MyEclipse and append the directory originally containing that DLL to the "Library Path" (last section in the "Paths" preference page).
