using eclipse 3.1.0, ME 4.0.3ga on win 2000 (sp4)
opening my struts-config.xml file, I used to get (in previous versions) a graphical representation of the actions etc... now all I get is 2 tabs "source" & "grid" - has this been removed or have I turned something off inadvertantly?
thanks

Harry,
The file is being opened by the standard XML editor for some reason. Right click the file, choose "Open With > MyEclipse Struts Editor" and it will open with the designer. Double clicking a file opens it with the last editor used for that file, so you should be all set henceforth.
Best,
Brian. |

been away for a while but thanks for that, works fine - is there anyway to set "MyEclipse Struts Editor" as the default? |

Harry,
The Struts Editor should be the default editor for all struts config files anyway. The last editor used to open the file is the editor that is used when you double click the file. So perhaps you had previously opened that file with our XML editor, which then became default only for that particular file. Once you open it once with the Struts designer, that will again become the default editor for that file.
If you notice that all your Struts config files are being opened by the XML editor instead on double click - try restarting eclipse just once with a -clean flag.
Best,
Brian. |
