Post subject: Labels in Activity Diagram not showing  PostPosted: Jan 20, 2006 - 08:33 AM

Hi,

I understand MyUML is still at its early stage, thus I don't know if the issue has been already reported.

Labels in activity diagram (state, transitions, junctions name and so on) do not show up in the diagram, which is pretty annoying. It happens with MyEclipse 4.03 and 4.1 M2 on windows.

Any suggestion/workaround or can you specify when the bug will be fixed.

Thanks

Francesco

This is a known bug, sorry you had to run into this.

Hi,

I ran into the same problem. Do you know when it will be fixed?

Cheers, Tobias

I'm suffering from this too, on communication diagrams.
This tool is SO nearly usable for us (we've tried and failed to use Omondo), looking forward to the next version.

Hi,

are there any news about this issue ?
This could be really a great tool, but it is hard to use without any labeling specially for junctions.

It would be great to know if at least somebody is taking care of it.

Karsten

I am running into this very same problem. I am quite surprised to find that this problem has been known for over a year and still has not been fixed?

The activity diagram is not worth using without this.

I am using version 5.5.1 GA.

Any progress on this?

Scott

I think this somehow fell off someone's radar, you are absolutely right this should have been fixed a while ago. I'll kick this up in priority. Sorry guys.

On many of the items in the Activity Diagram I'm not seeing labels show up. I'm using build 6.0.1-GA-200710 on Windows Vista under java 1.6.0_06

Thanks,

Jason

Jason,
Management is developing a future plan for the UML tooling at this point that should address these issues moving forward. Tenatively we want to begin the work during the 7.x release timeframe, likely not in 7.0, but later. I'm sorry I don't have more information at this time.
