Hi,

I've been playing around with the new web 2.0 browser. It looks very familiar for firefox users ... ;-)
However I sincerely miss the search facility in the DOM inspector. This is an invaluable tool for large and complex web pages (such as those generated by Websphere Portal).

Why did you leave it out?

We are just beginning in expand on our Web 2.0 Tools Platform. The Web 2.0 Browser and DOM Inspector are just a first step. We will be improving and adding features at a rapid pace. So get ready! I will make sure that the Search idea is added to our discussions. Thanks for your interest.

Hi there,

the source view for the Web 2.0 Browser that shipped with ME 4.1.1 is another useful improvement, but while you're at it, why not enable a simple search function (Ctrl-F) there as well...

Thanks & regards, Jochen

Jochen,

Thats a good suggestion. We added the Source View in the very late stages of 4.1.1 development. So there wasn't time to get anymore useful features. However, what we might do is put the HTML source editor in the source view in read-only mode. There are alot of options to explore. Keep the suggestions coming.
