    Hello,

just installed Version 4.1 and was very curious about the Javascript Debugging Feature.
But when I open the Web Browser i get lots of
“Procedure Entrypoint not found” Errors (don’t know if it’s the right translation, because my Windows speaks German),
    Windows Title is “CiceroUIWndFrame” :
    “PR_GetAddrInfoByName” in nspr4.dll
The DLL can found within the myEclispse Installation.

In the end the window opens, but just says:
Unable to create this part due to an internal error. Reason for the failure: COM object method returns error code: 0x80004005
    Detail:
com.jniwrapper.xpcom.ComException: COM object method returns error code: 0x80004005

    Carsten,

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. If you can answer a few more questions we can likely narrow the problem down.

When you installed 4.1 was it a fresh install or an update?
Did you install it on top of a prior release?
Can you try running Eclipse with JDK 1.4.2 using a commandline like the following: eclipse.exe -vm <path-to-jdk1.4.2>\bin\javaw.exe?
Does the issue occur the same way on other machines in or organization?
Can you restart with the -clean option (eclipse.exe -clean) to see if that changes the behavior?
What version of Internet Explorer do you have installed?

    Hi,

    the issue was resolved.

I found some old Netscape DLLs in my windows\system32 folder,
which must have survived an old Navigator Installation.
Because on system path, they interferred with the ones delivered with MyEclipse.
    The concerned DLLs were:
    nspr4.dll
    nss3.dll
    plc4.dll
    plds4.dll
    ssl3.dll

After I removed these, the Browser startet without any problem.

    Regards
    Carsten
