Everytime I open Web2 I get a Nullpointer exception, whether my browser is defaulted to ie, firefox or the Internal Browser.
I am running :

Version: 3.1.2
Build id: M20060118-1600
with Myeclipse 4.1.1
on windows server 2003 sp1 (could this be the problem?)

Below is the Stack Trace.

Thanks,

Lee.

Win2k3 could be an issue, I'll check with the dev team.

Lee,
We looked into this, can you try this on any other machines (WIndows) and see if the problem persists? Are there any other exceptions in the log that might be related to this?

I've just had this same thing happen. I was using a vanilla virtual machine with Windows 2003 Server R2 installed. Nothing else on it expect the latest J2SE, Eclipse and MyEclipse. I get the same nullpointer when trying to launch the web 2.0 browser.

vvrinne,

Try the latest version of MyEclipse 5.0M2 for Eclipse 3.2/Callisto. It has an updated that will probably work fine on your virtual machine. After you install MyEclipse, be sure and restart Eclipse once with a "-clean" argument to complete the installation.
