I have purchased and installed latest version of MyEclipse (5.0.1) running Eclipse3.2 on Ubuntu Linux.

I have prolems with the CSS editor content assist. Say for example i write text and press CTRL+space I expect to see a list of alternatives (in the same way it works in jsp and java editors).

However, instead of this I get an error "Content Assist" did not complete normally....NullPointerException

I havent read anywhere that the user has to set up/install some extra CSS assist library of sorts. Please advice on how to fix this.

Thanks

To be exact about your system information, always post the results of MyEclipse > Installation Summary > Installation Details for us. Also, provide a code example of where you are invoking autocomplete, it's possible that you are invoking it in a location that it's not supported.

And lastly, check your log file (<workspace dir>\.metadata\.log) for exceptions near the bottom that would explain in more detail what the NPE is comming from.

When you get a chance have a look at our Posting Guidelines just for a quick reference on what we need when you post.
