I just downloaded the 30 trial (so far so good). I am going through the web2.0 tutorial and I entered "http://genuitec.com/" into the web2.0 browser. Then I get the message...

"The connection was refused when attempting to contact genuitec.com".

I get the same results when I enter other urls, however I can enter my sample html page running on my local tomcat server (http://localhost:8080/index.html). Is this the expected behavior? Can I only run applications that are on my machine? If not what do I need to do to fix this?[/img]

If you are using the web 2.0 browser that has the instant-on debugging and you rae not behind a proxy, don't forget the www part, try http://www.genuitec.com

Hi Riyad,

I am behind a proxy. I had tried "http://www.genuitec.com" as well as several others. Without any luck. I also can not get to an intranet sites using the web2.0 browser.

You said if I "am not behind a proxy". What am I supposed to do if I am?

Thanks,
Dean

Dean,
Unfortunately proxy support in the Web 2.0 browser isn't supported yet, so there currently isn't a workaround when behind a proxy. That is something we are looking at right now. Sorry for the trouble.
