    farhan,

The error ‘Cannot create configuration in file:/Z:/softwares/eclipse3.2/configuration/ ‘ means that you haven’t write permission to the directory ‘Z:/softwares/eclipse3.2/configuration’.

Another reason is java update: have you installed a java update recently (say: just before the problem started)? I’ve had the same problem afer installing update 1.5.0_09, and I’ve resolved the problem returning to the previous release (1.5.0_06, the same you use).

    Farhan,

I think the quickest way to get to a working configuration would be to download and install the MyEclipse “All-In-One” installer for Windows from our downloads section. It has everything needed to launch MyEclipse so you’ll have a working installation as soon as the install completes.

    Hi Farhan,

You could try to check if you have java SDK & runtime installed on your system, specifically I could resolve this error by installing java SDK :- jdk-1_5_0-rc-windows-i586 after having got the error post Eclipse install & run check on windows XP machine.

    Cheers

    Hi Farhan,

Did you solve this problem ?? Now I am running on the same problem. I use window 7 and JDK 1.6.0_20.
I downloaded Eclipse 3.5.2 from eclipse.org and my JAVA_HOME environment variable is set to my JDK
    installation location.

When I try to install Eclipse, it raises exactly the same error – Unable to load …., please check the log file for more information.
The log file shows the below
