Ryiad,
Does MyEclipse provide support for EJB 3.0 specifications. As far as I have explored it provides support for EJB 2.x.

Gayatri,
We have not added any JEE 5.0 specific tooling yet, so no, no EJB 3.0 support yet but shortly. |

Just so that we can plan our development, can you tell us when you expect to provide support for ejb 3.0 ? Are we talking about end of 2006, beginning 2007, mid 2007, ...

Alain,
Planning for those features sets, how they will sit, what will need to get reimplemented to accomodate it all and so on are already taking place. So from planning, to implementation to really (not include betas/milestones) we are probably looking at Q2 2007 sometime. Seems like a long time away I know, but we still have 5.0.3 and 5.1 ontop of us that will be comming out by years end I believe, then we have planning for 5.x or 6.0, whichever management decides is next. |
