Most of the time when your Window > Preferences > MyEclipse > Application Servers
list is empty, it is due to an invalid installation (you can double check your log file, located at (<workspace dir>\.metadata\.log), for exceptions that would shed light on the situation).
The other cause of the problem is that MyEclipse
requires write-permissions to the MyEclipse
install directory to store connector settings. So on Linux, Mac or even Windows, if your user account doesn't have the proper permissions, it's possible that the connectors are not able to load so your Application Server
connector list will be empty.
