Post subject: Should MyEclipse keep the Bittorrent Downloads?

The bittorent downloads (2 per file) were added to help increase the throughput for folks downloading from the other half of the globe, but with our 5.0 release we added another high capacity download server dedicated exclusively to that portion of the world and setup load-balancing between all our download servers optimized by IP address and location.
Since then it seems downloads have gotten a lot better for everyone, and the "Bittorent" links on the Download page ad a lot of clutter so we were curious if no one is using them should we just take them down?
Can you guys tell us if those links are helpful and you do infact use them? If so, we'll leave them there. |
