I'm running Linux. I need to explore Portal and JSF features so I need to try 6.5M1.
When I downloaded the archived version and tried to install it as an extension to Eclipse 3.3.1.1 it couldn't find a valid folder. How can I install something to test under Linux? |

Didn't you download MyEclipse 6.5M1 Archived update site and then point the Eclipse update manager to archive directory ? |

Yes. That's what it said was invalid. I think it wants an eclipse directory and an .eclipseproduct file, neither of which is there |

vgriffin,
You will have to go to Help > Software Updates > Find and Install > Search for new feature to install > New Archive site and point it to "MyEclipse 6.5M1 Archived update site". Let me know if that doesn't help. |

That works fine. I needed to restart twice, but now it seems happy.
Please update the installation notes!
Thanks! |
