Post subject: [Troubleshoot] How do I use local history and CVS history?

One of our users Emmanuel recently noticed when he was dealing with a project from CVS or SVN that his handy "Local History" functionality seemed to disappear. After checking with the Eclipse.org team, he found out it's not gone, just organized in a different fashion.
To see both the Local and Remote revisions to a file, right-click on the file and go to: Team > Show History. After that, you can click the Local Revisions button on the toolbar to see only the local revisions performed on the file. From there you can restore or compare from these revisions.
