The old forum allowed you to click a ‘search’ link at the top, and let you do a global search from that link. It took me a few minutes of looking on the new site to find that functionality, after I finally left the forums and clicked on the ‘Support’ link, then finally “Search the Support Forums”.

Could you at least put a link to this page (http://www.myeclipseide.com/index.php?module=PNphpBB2) at the top of the main forums page? I see that I can search a specific category by selecting that category, then selecting that categories own search link, but when I’m unsure someone else is posting their problem in the same category, doesn’t do me a lot of good.

A quick unrelated question – what’s the timeline for the next release? [roadmap please 🙂 ]

    Thanks,

    Paul

    Paul,

The Site Search in the left nav does a great job at finding anything since it is run off of Google and the site is fully indexed. Please see if that does what you want for a forum search and let us know.

As for the roadmap, please click Refresh and look just above the Site Search and you should see MyEclipse Road Map in the left nav.
