When I create a new remote folder within a SVN repository, the tree is refreshed and totally collapsing all previously opened folders. If I need to add another new folder under the one just created, I have to click open the tree/folders again. Is there a way to “suppress” this annoying collapse tree problem? Actually, it is more like the IDE to “remember” the open/close state of all remote folders in the repository, do the refresh, and then “re-open” all folders that are opened before when creating the new folder.

Thanks...

This behavior depends on the plugin you are using for SVN support, I'm guessing you are using Subclipse and I'm not aware of any way to turn this off (and yes I agree it's annoying).
