    Hello,

I posted this on the “Bugs” forum but so far it has been ignored. I’m very sorry to have to post it again, I’m having some major issues with the Visual JSF/XHTML editor, its getting ridiculous now, every time I write text in it, the software crashes.

The log entries say the following:

    !ENTRY com.genuitec.eclipse.core.common 1 0 2007-09-13 10:07:11.515
!MESSAGE Resource ‘/SIICAServer/WebRoot/monitoreo/bitacoraAM.xhtml’ does not exist.
    !STACK 1
org.eclipse.core.internal.resources.ResourceException: Resource ‘/SIICAServer/WebRoot/monitoreo/bitacoraAM.xhtml’ does not exist.

This same error goes on and on and on …

How can the file not exist when I’m editing it? I upgraded to the latest version of MyEclipse but the problem persists.

The ONLY editor that works is the “Text Editor”, I find that funny because I purchased the subscription for the editors and support and I’m stuck with the notepad thingy and zero support on the bugs forum.

    Yeah, here it is:

I did post on that thread a screenshot of the error window, and I also did paste on this thread the repeating part of the log files that describes the problem that causes MyEclipse to crash and shut down.

I’m truly worried about that. How come a “File not found” error on a Visual Editor crashes MyEclipse? Its not like it’s a weird error or anything. I’m also worried about the less than speedy support, as it has been several days now and I’m forced to use competing (and ironically, free) editors because I do have to get some coding done.

Anyway, I do appreciate any help I could get to get the Visual editors working.
