Extension Element Details appear in the plugin editor as just titles not links to create classes or edit classes etc. The Icons are also missing just a square with a cross in them, in fact a lot of the usual information is missing.

I'm using MyEclipse 6.0M1 on Windows XP with JDK 1.6.

When I switch to plain Europa everyting is fine !!!

Any ideas??

/Dominic

Dominic,
I couldn't reproduce this... see screenshot.

Is there a particular extension you are having a problem with?

I have a licensed copy of MyEclipse and have just installed 6.0. The problem I have is with the plugin editor. With the bare eclipse 3.3 installed when using the PDE to edit the Extensions, I get the Extension Element Details with links and browse buttons. When I then install MyEclipse as a plugin I get the Extension Element Details without the links and browse buttons and no visual indication of icons in the All Extensions section on the left.

I thought the problem was related to not installing the SDK version of eclipse which is why I tried downloading eclipse and MyEclipse as separates. I also had the problem obviously with the MyEclipse full stack installation.

I have attached two screen shoots. The first myEclipse1.jpg shows the MyEclipse missing the links and browse buttons and the second myEclipse2.jpg with links and browse buttons in place. I have taken the shots so you can see the window titles. Both show that the eclipse SDK is installed.

Regards

/Dominic
