Hi,
I read all the documentation but it is still not clear what are the exact steps to create a new WEB project that inergrate both JSF, ICEFaces and Facelets.
For instance, if I add JSF feature and select facelets too using the wizard.
Later on, the ICEFaces facelets feature option is disabled/dimmed.
Thanks,

| is there gonna be any chance at all of having full visual design of icefaces on Linux? The MyICEFaces tutorial I've noticed cannot be followed along on linux systems (no support for the Visual JSP editor)! |

Erez:
I had the same problem with ICEFaces/Facelets, and spent quite some time before getting it right:
1- new WEB EE5 project
2- add JSF capabilities (NO facelets support at this stage !)
3- add ICEFaces support
4- and LAST: add ICEFaces Facelets support
Logical maybe, but not obvious ! Since ICEFaces is 3rd party, the ICEFaces Facelets option cannot be offered at stage 2. I feel a little help from ME for smoother integration should be offered here. At least, these steps should be documented (in bold).
BTW: thank you all ME people. Integration of 3rd party plug-ins in 6.0.1 was a neat feature.
regards,
Jean-Michel |

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
I spend all day trying to get ICEFaces to work with ME, and that finally solved it.
As you said, I do wish it had been a bit more obvious... :(
