Post subject: problem with AspectJ plugins  PostPosted: Dec 07, 2007 - 12:18 PM

Hi all,

I'm using eclipse Europa 3.3. Reacently I copied AspjectJ plugins to eclipse plugins directory and able to work on AspectJ projects.

But the problem is, eclipse is not responding properly and closing the application frequently.
When I tried to open the file while the other process is running, or even scroll down the file when other process is running, window is not responding and closing the editor.

this really irritates me.

please suggest me, is there any configuration issues in this.

I'm using 1GB ram and my virtual memory is 3000MB and mapped to C drive (which has free space 12.2 GB in 20GB).

Thanks in advance.

Regards
Pavan

Pavan,
I might suggest that you download Pulse (http://www.poweredbypulse.com) and register an account (just an email and password) and then create a new Eclipse Europa for Java profile and add AspectJ to it. It will give you a very controlled/well-defined way to manage your installs of Eclispe and additional features you want in it.

It's also free. Here's an example I just setup, creating an Eclipse Europa for Java profile and adding a few products to it:
