Hello,
I've been using Flex Builder 2 as a MyEclipse plugin for some time. Now that Flex Builder 3 has been officially released (no longer in beta), is there a timeframe for being able to install it in MyEclipse?
Thanks,
Chris. |

Chris,
Have you tried using Flex Builder 3 with MyEclipse as a plugin ? |

I didn't know that was possible. Would I still be able to work with my other MyEclipse plugins (RadRails, Database Explorer, SVN, etc)?

Chris,
The Flex builder plugin is not certified to run with MyEclipse but since you were able to run version 2 with MyEclipse, I asked you to give Flex Builder 3 a shot. I haven't tried using it but maybe some other user on the forum could help you out. |

Sorry, I didn't understand your original reply... It sounded like you were telling me to install FB3 and then MyEclipse as a plugin!
Looks like I'll need to upgrade MyEclipse to the current version (I now have 5.5.1 GA). I haven't done so yet, because a note from your support team told me last November that I needed to reinstall; and I was afraid I'd lose stuff.
So if I decide to reinstall MyEclipse with the new version, do I need to uninstall 5.5.1 GA first?

Chris,
You can have MyEclipse 5.5.1 installed along side MyEclipse 6.0.1 on your machine. That would not be a problem. But you cannot upgrade 5.5.1 GA to the latest version. |

I, too, would very much like it.
Thanks,

| FYI - I have had the Adobe Flex Builder 3 plugin (version 3.0.0.194161) installed for a little over a month now and have had no problems with it with MyEclipse version 6.0.1. |
