HI, is there a way to schedule the report?

I was thinking to have a command line to generate the report and create a cron job to run the report on a certain schedule… but I don’t know where to start… I heard of BIRT runtime but not sure if it’d be working with MyEclipse Report.

    Any advice?

    Thanks.

Can you clarify what you mean by “Scheduling a report”… you mean generation of it?

well… basically i want to generate the reports on a certain time frame… and not on the by-demand basis… but I think I figured it out… basically I’ll be using the Report API to generate the report on the command line and then put it on a cron job to run by schedule.

    Thanks.

Ahh ok, yea we don’t support that directly and the solution you found is the right way to do that.
