It's not clear to me how I can create a new Maven project based upon *any* valid archetype within the IDE using Maven4MyEclipse plugin. Am I missing something? The "create Mavin Java Project" seems to only use the simple archetype. It would be nice to be prompted for what archetype to use.

Is this possible?

It is not possible in the current MyEclipse version.
