Post subject: Sequence Diagram from existing code base

Hi,
I'm trying in vain to get sequence diagrams done using an existing code base. Class diagrams are working fine. With the sequence diagrams the only thing that I can see working are classifier roles, i.e., simply dragging the class from the Outline view onto the sequence diagram. However, if I try to drag methods of these classes onto the diagram - anywhere, on the classifier, or the respective time lines, nothing happens. Is there another way to get sequence diagrams working? I looked through this forum and the post re sequence diagrams but could not find an answer. There seems to be no other documentation available re this problem.

Jens,
Are you trying to generate Sequence Diagrams from your code like you generated the Class diagrams? Im sorry thats not possible at the moment. You will have to manually create the diagrams. |
