I’m getting an error when trying to install examples. I’ve seen other posts to this error but no resolution. I’m getting an error when hovering over or clicking the Install button. The error message is:
Line 26 Error:’g’ is null or not an object

After clicking on the install I can see the Checking out Project box and it actually appears to be failing on authenticating CSV.

I can verify this by going to the CSV Repository and trying to connect to the CSV site and I get the same message. The information that was put into CSV entry is:
    Connect type: Pserver
    User: anonymous
Pwd: (assuming it is anonymous as I didn’t enter)
    Host: examples.myeclipseide.com
    Reposit Path: /home/cvs/public/myeclipse/examples

    Thanks

The authentication for the CVS server is exactly right, I’m not sure why it’s failing. As far as the JavaScript popup, that seems to occur when Microsoft tools like Visual Studio are installed and enable the JavaScript debugging hook in IE (which is the embedded browser rendering that page).

Are you behind a proxy that might be blocking unfettered access to the EOD repo? Could you try this again from home?

Thanks. I got it to work from home. I must apologize. After I was able to download an example, I finally saw the HOWTO from behind a firewall link at the top of the page. I’ll give that a try as well.
    Thanks.

Not a problem, just glad it’s working.
