When I am generating the WAR file with Maven under MyEclipse 6.5, when I explode the WAR file, I noticed a strange thing.

the web.xml file is showing up in folder called web-inf instead of WEB-INF. why it is creating a strange folder like that.

I am not able to deploy the application to Weblogic 9.2 through MyEclipse, however the application is getting installed through web logic client from browser.

For got to add, I have created a WebProject(Maven optional)

The issue that you have reported is the WEB-INF directory is created in lowercase?

I was unable to reproduce this issue at my end.

Can you go to MyEclipse > Installation Summary > Installation Details and paste the information here for me.
