Hello;

In the hope to be able to use the Visual JSP Editor with MyEclipse 6.5 I have built up my Eclipse/MyEclipse-environment completely new from bottom up.

My Operating system is openSuSe 11.0 64-bit with all current updates applied.
My Eclipse version is Eclipse SDK Version 3.3.2 Build id: M20080221-1800
My MyEclipse version is Version 6.5.1 GA Build id: 6.5.1-GA-20080715

Eclipse and other MyEclipse features run perfectly (with increased jvm memory parameters), but the JSP Editor does not work. I alway get the hin, that it's experimental and that i should set an init parameter -Dlinux.experimental=true. I applied that parameter and applied all your other other suggestions (MOZILLA_FIVE ..), but nothing helps.
Now i follow your last suggestion and contact the support. Please help me.

ADlex,

The -Dlinux.experimental=true needs to be set in your startup arguments, or in the eclipse.ini file, but the MOZILLA_FIVE_HOME="" (notice it has to be set to the empty string) has to be set in a script that executes before you call the eclipse executable to launch, are you doing that alreayd?
