Hi,

I have MyEclipse 6.5 - Pulse edition installed.
I added PDT to this MyEclipse - Pulse edition using Pulse.
The PDT version added was 1.0.2
No it seems there is a problem running xdebug 2.0 with PDT 1.0.2.
I need to upgrade PDT to 1.0.3 which resolves this problem.

When I update my environment it doesn't upgrade PDT.
Why? How can I upgrade otherwise?

Thanks

When you run the pulse explorer, you should be offered the updates. Is 1.0.3 compatible with Eclipse 3.3? You might have to upgrade to Eclipse 3.4 and MyEclipse 7.0M2 to update the plugin.

Hi,

Only MyEclipse 6.5 is displayes in the pulse explorer.
How can I get 7.0M using Pulse?

According to eclipse site these are the requirements for pdt 1.0.3

1.0.3 Release Build: R20080603
2008-06-03 03:44:06 -0400
Requirements and Handy Extras
Java 5 JRE version used in this build is here.
Eclipse SDK v3.3.2 version used in this build is here: linux-gtk-x86 | linux-gtk-ppc | win32-win32-x86 | macosx-carbon-ppc | macosx-carbon-x86 | .
XSD 2.3.2 runtime version used in this build is here.
GEF 3.3.2 runtime version used in this build is here.
DTP 1.5.2_022008 runtime version used in this build is here.
WTP R-2.0.2-20080223205547 Runtime version used in this build is here.

So it should be ok with eclipse 3.3. However when I do an update I only get 1.0.2.
Is this a problem of the PDT update site or what?

Regards

You will have to switch to the Ganymede profile and then you will be able to add MyEclipse 7.0M2. Try upgrading and let me know if it helps.

I did change to Ganymede and installed MyEclipse 7M2.

Now PDT is not in the catalogue.
When I manually enter the update site it still shows 1.0.2.

On the PDT site it says that PDT 2.0.x is for Eclipse 3.4 (Ganymede) and PDT 1.0.x is for Eclipse 3.3 (Europe)

Jean it's possible that PDT uses a separate update site for the Ganymede files, which update site did you register and use?

Jean,

Checking the update site you provided, it doesn't look like the PDT team released the 1.0.3 build to that site, it's possible they have a Dev update site or something like that where it might be? The trick will just be to find it and point Pulse at it and it will take care of the rest.

Thanks for the effort.

I'll have to install it manually if I want it.
I'll propably will do that using Ganymede and PDT 2.0
