In attempting to open the HQL editor I get the following error message:
"The MyEclipse JDK1.5.0_11 is not compatible with the <project name> project's Java 1.6 code compliance setting."
It goes on to say that a number of HQL Editor features will not be available and that I can solve the problem by starting MyEclipse w/ a 1.6 VM or changing the compiler compliance setting. I would prefer (I think) to start MyEclipse w/ the 1.6 vm (which I have installed on my machine), but don't see how to do that.
Would you suggest the proper course of action.
Thank you.

Jeff,
You will have to make the change in the eclipse.ini file. The vm argument will have to point to JDK 1.6. You can even right click on the MyEclipse shortcut and change the vm argument to point to JDK 1.6.
p.s. JDK 1.6 is not officially supported by MyEclipse. |
