Do you think the guys who sorted out the PULSE firewall issues for updates could take a crack at doing the same for EOD? I can't install them from here at work.

The CVS view will not connect and when i click on

MyEclipse > Example On-Demand, the examples show up, but can't be installed.

The browser itself is something we wrote, the mechanism that "installs" the projects is actually the underlying Eclipse CVS support -- when you click the "Install" button, it fires off a CVS checkout on that project from our repository -- if you witch to the CVS view you can see our repository listed there... so if there is a bug in there, unfortunately that would fall on the Eclipse CVS team's shoulders to fix.

The CVS connection stuff should honor your proxy settings under Window > Prefs > General > Network Connections.

But that's to no avail if the CVS server is listening on a blocked port, which seems to be the case. The "SSL work around" doesn't work in general because the EOD CVS server isn't really listening on 443 AFAICT. If it were then we might be able to connect to it.
