I am going though the proper steps to set up a web application using IceFaces and Facelets with Maven support. Maven responds to adding JSF and IceFaces support, but when I click the last step to allow IceFaces Facelet support nothing happens. I get the dialog asking me to specify the extension which I leave as .xhtml, but Maven does not respond and Facelet support is not added.

I checked my faces-config file and there is nothing added.

    Please advise.

    Using ME 6.6

    mangelo123,
We have been trying to reproduce this issue at our end but have been unable to do so. Could you please list the details steps you followed to help us reproduce this at our end.

    Thank you.

Create a new web project and select Maven Support.
    Add JSF capabilities.
    Add IceFaces capabilities.

** All appears to be communicating with Maven up to this step.

    Add IceFaces Facelets support.
** After adding IceFaces Facelets support you will see that you get no response in your console, the IceFaces Facelets library is not added, and the faces-config.xml file is not updated.

    mangelo123,
I just got a reply from and dev team and it seems like they were able to reproduce the issue that you have reported. This issue has been fixed in the 7.x release but Im afraid you are running into issue working with 7.1. Were you able to get it to work?

I am now experiencing another problem with Maven, but I think it is due to something else. None of the repositories outside of my company can be found. Either the Maven support is not using the manual proxy config that I set up under General | Network Connections and / or because those settings are not being saved. This is happening in 7.1.1. When I put in my proxy info and proxy authentication info it is gone when I close ME and come back in.

I am pretty confident that Maven4MyEclipse is not referencing the proxy or ME is not saving the proxy config as I state above. I remote connected and tried all of this from home and it works well now.
