    Hi Support,

I have a question concerning the customizing of MyEclipse Blue via the configuration that can be found at “Genuitec\MyEclipse 7.1 Blue Edition\configuration”.
Until now I edited preferences via the Window/Preferences dialogs directly in MyEclipse Blue. The changes are saved in the current workspace.

That means the preferences are connected with a specific workspace. So my question is if it is possible to set preferences by editing files in the configuration. The following preferences are very interesting for me:
    – Set ANT-Home-Variable in Ant-Runtime-Settings
    – Disable Maven (Download repository index updates on startup)
    – Disable update-mechanism

Is there a possibility to control these and other preferences via configuration. If yes, what files I have to edit?

    Best regards,
    sehlerding

I’m afraid its not possible to control these via configuration. Im not sure if this work around will help but you can go to File > Export > General > Preferences and export your preferences and then this file can be distributed and imported by going to File > Import > General > Preferences.
