Trying to install the help for MySQL (5.1) in MyEclipse 7.1?

I know the old method was to drop the help directory into the 'Plugins' folder but this doesn't work and IIRC there is a new way of installing plugins now?

Thanks

Chris

Chris,
We do support the /dropin folder method of setting up plugins with MyEclipse.

Can you install this without using Pulse?

The old method of unzipping into the plugins folder was simple enough...

Regards

Chris,
You can setup MyEclipse using the Archive Update Site installer with Eclipse 3.4.1 classic. This will not include pulse but you should be able to access the /dropins folder functionality.

Still can't get this to work - the Eclipse plugin is on the MySQL documentation site but doesn't have the same structure as the other plugins, I am trying to get this to display on the 'help' panel instead of having to have a PDF open alongside ME?

It (MySQL 6 doc plugin) works fine for me by extracting the content of the zip into the dropins folder. I don't know what the "help panel" is but it shows up in the Help/Help Contents.

Just tried it again, and it is now there (go figure!)

Another bad hair day, thanks for the help - confirming it works made me try again so you are a star
