Cannot uninstall Enterprise Workbench 2.7

    I downloaded the new Enterprise Workbench 2.8 beta 1 and tried to do an uninstall of my previous 2.7 version (I use Eclipse 2.1.3. When selecting uninstall of EW 2.7, an error file is generated with the following content:

    An unexpected exception has been detected in native code outside the VM.
    Unexpected Signal : EXCEPTION_PRIV_INSTRUCTION occurred at PC=0x10010000
    Function=[Unknown.]

    I tried to start the EW 2.8 installation program, but it crashes upon start. I would appreciate any help in this matter.

    Eje,

    The problem looks like an incompatibility with the way your Java environment is configured and our InstallAnywhere-based installer/uninstaller. What I’d suggest is that you use our manual installation instead. It’s the last download in the download section and contains an HTML doc that shows how to perform the installation. It’s really quite simple, basically just creating and populating a file in the <eclipse-install>/links directory.
