The 2.8-beta release of MyEclipse Enterprise Workbench introduces HTML WYSIWYG design capabilities. Follow-on beta and production releases will extend this interactive design capability to include JSP, Struts HTML custom tags, and ultimately JSF 1.0 web page development. Our strategic focus is to provide a strong commercial WYSIWYG feature set across all OS platforms supported by Eclipse as quickly as possible. Yet the MyEclipse 2.8 WYSIWYG features will be made available only on Win32 OS installs. We are actively developing a cross platform solution and trust that non-Win32 users will be patient with us during this effort.

    Thanx Scott,

Although I don’t use WYSIWYG tools, I like the syntax highlighting and auto-complete features better. I was just curious 🙂 …. keep up the good work 🙂

Actually, the syntax highlighting and autocomplete features for the source code are provided by our JSP editor, so you should actually have all the same features there.
