Auto complete is not working in MyEclipse 7.5. I recently switched to this version and it has never worked. When I click on the green lightbulb I get the message "no suggestions available". I have tried going to Windows > Preferences > Java > Editor > Content Assist and clicking Restore Defaults and Apply. I also tried clicking on Advanced and Restore Defaults, Apply there, but that didn't help either.

sstgerma,
Can you go to Java>Editor>Content Assistant>Advanced, select Basic Proposals and Other Java Proposals in the top pane, click "Apply" and OK?

the-dinner,
Have you tried the workaround suggested above? If you are still facing the issue, can you give some information?
1. Can you copy paste your installation details from MyEclipse > Installation Summary > Installation Details?
2. How did you install MyEclipse? using all-in-one installer/pulse or added MyEclipse as a pulgin on top of Eclipse?
3. Are there any errors logged in the log file located at workspace dir > .metadata > .log?

the-dinner,
Open the .log file, clear the content and save the file. Now, try to code complete and note the errors in the log file.
This will give the errors generated when using content assist.
Also, I would recommend you to go to Windows > Preferences > Java > Editor > Content Assist > Advanced and select Basic Proposals and Other Java Proposals in the top pane.
