Hi folks. In MyEclipse 8, I am no longer seeing any annotations at all in the "overview ruler" on the right side of the screen.

I go General > Editors > Text Editors > Annotations. I select (for instance) "Occurences", check "Overview ruler", and select a color. But nothing ever appears anymore in the Overview ruler.

For that matter, even checking "Vertical ruler" does not work. My "Occurences" do not show there either.

I have also tried the "Restore Defaults" button, shutting down MyEclipse, rebuilding the project and rebooting. Nothing works.

What can I do? This is very important.

Never mind. Somehow "Mark Occurences" had been unchecked elsewhere.
