This is a critical purchase point feature. If I can demonstrate that we can debug javascript in JSPs, we have a strong case to purchase. I am having trouble, because every time I attempt to set a breakpoint in the JS within the JSP, the app informs me that I may not put a breakpoint on that line. (The example in the tutorial isn't helping me get this to work).
I set up a debug session and set it to point to the URLfor the JSP. I found it interesting that after saving that debug session, MyEclipse automatically discovered and opened the js library file. I did read in a 2006 post that only js libraries can be debugged, is that still the case?
Any help that you could provide would greatly boost my case (and our productivity).
Thank you!
(Note that our web app disables all browser nav features such as back button and URL bar.) |
