Currently, when you take MyEclipse -> Preferences -> MyEclipse -> Servers from the menu, it is possible to define only one instance of each application server version. We use more than one instance of same application server version for development purposes, so it would be very appreciated feature to have a possibility to define multiple instances of same application server version to be viewed on Servers tab.

Best regards,
Ari

This is possible, to an extent with ME8.

Using the Servers menu select, select your app server and expand the list box and select the Launch item. From there you can use the Create Launch Configuration button to create a new instance which will appear in the Servers view.

But, unfortunately, this feature is not yet complete with the Tomcat server server as it does not allow you to specify alternate base or home directories for new instances. I don't know about the other app servers, but you could give it a try to see if your app server is fully supported for this feature.

Thank you for help! In MyEclipse it is not so intuitive to add new server instance compared to RAD (on Servers tab just New -> Server). But, I got it working with JBoss. For JBoss instance configurations, it is possible to define alternate working / home directory.
