I purchased a new computer today and after downloading Eclipse and installing the MyEclipse plugins, I’m having trouble entering my subscription code. I pasted my code into the dialog window, entered my user id and it seems to accept the code but the “MyEclipse” menu is never enabled. It only has one menu item “Subscription Information…” which prompts me to re-enter my id and subscription code. Repeated this operation numerous times.

This is the first time I’ve used Windows 7. Any suggestions??

    John,

Please ensure you have entered the subscription ID and code without any spaces or special characters like enter key. You can enter your subscription details either here – Open MyEclipse IDE, from menu options click on MyEclipse > Subscription or Window > Preferences > MyEclipse > Subscription. In case you are still facing issues, please send a screenshot and details of your issue to support@genuitec.com

    John,

Can you tell us how you installed MyEclipse? Is your system a 32 or 64 bit version of Windows?

64 bit Windows 7 Home Premium.

I downloaded classic Eclipse 3.5.1 (Galileo), then installed MyEclipse from the update site at:

Sending configuration screen shots in separate email.
